Q. Is Endermologie new?

A. Endermologie has been a specific procedure for the treatment of cellulite and body contouring since 1986. Over 100,000 treatments are now performed every day in over 95 countries world wide.

Q. What are the benefits of Endermologie treatments?

A. Endermologie treatments benefit both men and women. Treatment results include body reshaping, improve skin fitness and the reduction of cellulite.

Q. How much does endermologie cost?

A. A single treatment is $140 but most clients buy packs of treatments and the investment can drop below $100 per treatment.

Q. How long does each Endermologie treatment take?

A. Each treatment takes approx 35 to 45 minutes, with the majority of the time concentrating on the target areas. ( we allow 1 hour for each appt )

Q. What does an Endermologie treatment feel like?

A. Endermologie is a gentle relaxing treatment that provides a general sense of well being and revitalisation. It is a non-invasive treatment that involves no medical procedures or us of chemicals. As you have seen in the ad, the client lies on the bed in a body stocking and the therapist runs the treatment head of the machine over the body. In the treatment head there are 2 rollers, between which the flesh is gently drawn up by a suction system, it is very pleasant and no pain involved. The rollers work in different ways on different programs and all are designed to gently break down the deposits of fat in the connective tissue.

Q. How many treatments will it take to get rid of my cellulite?

A. Endermologie has a cumulative effect, whereby the connective tissue fo the skin becomes healthier over time. An initial assessment of a clients condition will determine the likely number of treatments necessary to achieve the result they desire. A suggested minimum number of treatments is 20.

Q How often do I need Endermologie treatments.

A Endermologie treatments should be performed 2 to 3 times per week until the desired result is achieved. Endermologie treatments should be spaced evenly apart over the entire number of treatments required.
3 treatments per week for the first 2 weeks and 2 treatments per week for the remainder of treatments.

Q Does Endermologie work on men?

A. The Endermologie treatment works even more effectively on men than women because of the genetic composition of their connective tissue. Target areas tend to be more often the chest, stomach and above the hips.

Q Does Endermologie replace diet and exercise?

A Endermologie is a specific type of exercise for your connective tissue.
Endermologie efficiently treats target areas unaffected by diet or conventional exercise. Incorporating a balanced diet and regular exercise into a course Endermologie treatments will achieve even greater results.

Q. Do Endermologie treatments have any side effects?

A. Endermologie treatments may cause light headedness, head aches or nausea, in clients who are dehydrated or have low blood pressure. Always remember to drink between 2 and 4 litres of water each day.

Q. What is the difference between Liposuction and Endermologie?

A. Endermologie treatments are non – invasive and improve the health of connective tissue. Liposuction is an invasive surgical procedure aimed at removing fat tissue from an area. Doctors often recommend Endermologie treatments in conjunction with liposuction to minimise the trauma caused by scaring and inflammation of the procedure and to improve the health of the tissue.

Q. Will I loose weight from the treatment?

A. Endermologie is not a direct weight loss treatment. The improved functioning of the body’s system often affect shape before any change in weight.

Q Are the results permanent?

A. The results of Endermologie treatments last up to 18 months. If the factors causing the initial condiditon are not changed, the tissue will return to the state it was in before Endermologie. Regular exercise, a balanced diet and 1-2 Endermologie treatments per month are recommended to help keep the results achieved.

Q. Is it safe?

A. Edermologie was first developed in France in 1986 and was FDA approved as a cellulite treatment in 1996. Endermologie is endorsed by physotherapists and doctors world wide.
